IC 4303 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Hydra south of the celestial equator . It is estimated to be 102 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 35,000 ly.

The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 4, 1904 .
