IC 4322 is a compact elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type C in the constellation Bootes the northern sky . It is estimated to be 365 million light years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies IC 909 and IC 916 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on June 15, 1895 .
