IC 4333 is a lenticular edge-on galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Octant in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 114 million light years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 ly in diameter.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on June 13, 1901 .
