The Bavarian guild health insurance fund , based in Munich, was a German guild health insurance fund . As part of the statutory health insurance , it was a corporation under public law .

history

The Bavarian guild health insurance fund was created on November 1st, 1999 from the union of the Franconian guild health insurance funds , Upper Bavaria , Upper Palatinate-Lower Bavaria and Swabia .

On July 1, 2005, it merged with the IKK Westphalia to form the United IKK .
