ISO 3166-2: NI

The list of ISO-3166-2 codes for Nicaragua contains the codes for the 15 administrative districts ( Departamentos ) and the two autonomous regions ( Comunidades Autónomas ).

The codes consist of two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part gives the country code according to ISO 3166-1 (for Nicaragua NI), the second the code for the administrative district and the autonomous region.

The current country code was last updated in the second newsletter on May 21, 2002 ( PDF ).
