Inès Neuhaus
Inès Neuhaus , née Inès Kargel (* 1970 in Linz ) is an Austrian musician and composer .
Life
At a young age she received ballet training at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and lessons in piano , guitar and saxophone . She completed her acting studies at the Graz University of Music in 1990 , as well as her studies at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz in the subjects of music and saxophone (1996) and music and media technology (1998). She completed a course in computer music and electronic media at the Vienna University of Music . Since 1999 she has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association .
Your compositional activity moves in the multimedia interdisciplinary area and pays particular attention to space and event situation. This determines the parameters of the respective work ( performances , sound installations , sound theater as well as theater and film music ).
She can refer to performances of her works in several European countries , in North and South America and in the People's Republic of China . Also on appearances and tours as a jazz and rock saxophonist as well as participating in theater productions , readings , shows and presentations as an actress and director .

Awards
- Kargel received a talent promotion award from the state of Upper Austria in 1996 and an art promotion award from the city of Linz in 1999 and was a scholarship holder of the Berlin Academy of the Arts .
- Together with Fabian Neuhaus , she received the Manor Art Prize in Schaffhausen in 2006 .
