Ingeburg Kanstein (born September 28, 1939 in Ratingen ; † March 7, 2004 in Hamburg ; sometimes under the misspellings "Ingeborg Kanstein" and "Ingeburg Kantstein") was a German actress , author , radio play and voice actor .

Ingeburg Kanstein completed an acting degree at the State University of Music in Stuttgart, which she graduated with the state examination in 1962. In addition to her many years of stage work, she was occasionally seen in film and television productions. She played in Wolfgang Staudte's thriller Fluchtweg St. Pauli - Grossalarm für die Davidswache , in the drama Novemberkatzen based on Mirjam Pressler and in various television films such as Franz Josef Gottlieb's Spätes Glück not excluded with Inge Meysel in the leading role. She achieved widespread fame through leading roles and recurring roles in television series such as the wife of Hanns-Dieter Hüsch in Goldener Sonntag , as "Frau Waltinger" in Our Hagenbecks , in the youth series The Little Vampire - New Adventure and as "Gertrud" in ten episodes the family saga The Legacy of the Guldenburgs . She also took on various guest roles in series such as Tatort , Großstadtrevier , Der Landarzt , Sonderdezernat K1 , Hamburg Transit and Neues aus Uhlenbusch .
Radio play and dubbing
Ingeburg Kanstein also worked extensively as a speaker for radio plays and dubbing. For the Europa label she took part in numerous children's radio plays in popular series such as Ein Fall für TKKG , Die drei ??? and five friends . In the Hanni and Nanni radio plays based on Enid Blyton , she lent her voice to the French teacher “Mademoiselle Fearful”. As a voice actress she worked for the German version of the crime series Miami Vice and as "Frau Töpfer" in the children's series Bob the Builder .
Writer
Ingeburg Kanstein also worked as a writer and published various books for children and young people. Some of them achieved several editions, like in 1981 together with “Manuel O.” Run away - the last chance? , the story of an escape.
