Inmobiliaria Colonial is a listed Spanish property company. The real estate manager was founded in 1946 by Banco Hispano Colonial from Barcelona to bundle the real estate business of the bank. In 1991 la Caixa took over the majority of the shares in Inmobiliaria Colonial. In this way, several properties from the Caixabank property came into the possession of Colonial. Eight years later, in 1999, the company went public. The entry into the Parisian market for commercial real estate was achieved through the takeover of the French real estate company Société foncière lyonnaise in 2004. The company owns 108 office properties in Madrid, Barcelona and Paris with a total above-ground floor area of ​​1,861,960 m². Inmobiliaria Colonial is part of the Spanish benchmark index IBEX 35 .
