ENCE Energía y Celulosa , formerly Empresa Nacional de Celulosa , is a Spanish pulp manufacturer . In 2013, 1.271 million tons of pulp were produced.
ENCE owns two pulp mills in Navia and Pontevedra and biomass power plants in Huelva and Mérida .
In addition, ENCE cultivates eucalyptus (mainly blue eucalyptus ) on large areas of land in Spain, Portugal and formerly Uruguay .
