action

Dr. Howard Latimer, a famous fashion doctor, is supposed to pick up an actress from the airport for a friend. The friend, Charlie Kaufmann, is a film producer and is unable to attend. The actress Mrs. Veldon does not appear, but is later found murdered in Latimer's apartment. Scotland Yard investigates: Inspector Dane seems to have solved the case very quickly, in his eyes there is only one possible murderer: the doctor Dr. Latimer. The latter protests his innocence, but in the course of the case more and more evidence indicates that he committed the crime. He dives more and more into a vicious circle from which he can no longer free himself. It seems like a swamp of crime he's gotten into. Who will destroy him? And why should he of all people be presented as a murderer? Behind everything seems to be a large-scale drug trafficking organized by a great stranger named Hitton. Latimer tries on his own to find this man who appears to be one of the people involved in the case. In the end he succeeds, he is rehabilitated and the real murderer Mrs. Veldons is exposed.
