Isabel Marie Gose (born May 9, 2002 in Berlin ) is a German swimmer.

Career

Isabel Gose competed in her first competition for Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 . At the age of twelve (2014) she switched to the sports school in Potsdam , where she was promoted and shaped by trainer Marko Letz. Since then she started for Potsdamer SV . At the German Short Course Championships in 2016 , she won her first championship title in the 400 m freestyle at national level in the senior category. The following year she took part in the German Swimming Championships 2017 in Berlin and won the 200 m freestyle title. She then won the title at the German Short Course Championships in 2017 over 400 and 800 m freestyle. Since April 2018 she has been training in the training group of Dr. Michael Spikermann at the Rhine-Neckar Olympic Training Center in Heidelberg . She celebrated her first international title in Helsinki at the beginning of July when she won the 200 m freestyle at the European Junior Championships, and with her seven medals she became the most successful DSV athlete. In 2019 at the Junior European Championships in Kazan , Russia , Gose was the most successful athlete of the entire title fights with 5 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals. With her winning time of 1: 57.51 min over the 200 m freestyle, she set a new championship record. She was able to book another event record together with the 4 × 100 m freestyle mixed relay. At the German Short Course Championships 2019 in Berlin, she swam a new German short course record in the 400 m freestyle with 03: 58.91 min . At the European Short Course Championships in Glasgow in 2019 , she won her first individual medal in an international adult championship with silver over this route.
