Emiliano Marcondes Camargo Hansen , Emiliano for short (born March 9, 1995 in Hvidovre ), is a Danish - Brazilian football player . He is under contract with Brentford FC .

Origin and family

Emiliano was born to a Brazilian mother and a Danish father in the Copenhagen suburb of Hvidovre . His maternal grandfather is former soccer player Braz Camargo and his father is a jazz musician. The parents separated when he was nine years old. Since the cost of living was too high, his mother returned to São Paulo , while Emiliano stayed with his father in Denmark.

Since the 2016/17 season he has been running under his first name Emiliano .

Career

Emiliano joined Hvidovre IF as a child . At the age of 15 he moved to FC Nordsjælland and made his debut for the professional team on September 25, 2012 in a 3-1 win nV in the third round of the Danish cup competition at Svebølle BI. In the 2012/13 season he was runner-up with FC Nordsjælland. In the following season he played in qualifying for the Champions League and in the Europa League play-offs . On May 11, 2014, in a 3-1 win at Viborg FF , he scored his first professional goal and was sixth in the table with FCN at the end of the season. For the 2013/14 season Emiliano was permanently taken over into the professional squad and had a share in the sixth place in the table.

In July 2017 Emiliano signed a preliminary contract with the English second division club Brentford FC, valid from January 1, 2018 . The contract runs until 2021. In his first six months in the London borough of Brentford , Emiliano made twelve appearances in the second division as well as one appearance in the FA Cup , in which Brentford FC was eliminated in the third round against Notts County . In his twelve appearances in the league, he was only in three games in the starting lineup. Also in the following season Emiliano could not fight for a regular place both under Dean Smith and under his successor Thomas Frank ; in 13 league games he was only three times in the starting lineup.

On September 2, 2019, he returned to Denmark on loan for half a year and joined FC Midtjylland . At the Ulvenen , who play their home games in Herning in Central Jutland, Emiliano fought for a regular place and gave two assists in twelve games and scored as many goals himself. After the loan he returned to Brentford FC.

National team

Emiliano made his debut on August 30, 2011 in the 5-0 victory on the occasion of the Syrenka Cup in Mława, Poland against Belarus for the Danish U17 national team and played for these eight games (one goal). Between October 2012 and April 2013 he made five appearances with one goal for the Danish U18 national team , and from February 2013 he made eleven games (six goals) for the U19 national team , with which he failed to qualify for the 2014 U19 European Championship . From 2012 to 2014 he also played four games for the Danish U20s .

Emiliano made his debut for the Danish U21 national team on June 11, 2015 when he was used in a friendly in Lyngby in preparation for the 2015 U21 European Championship in a 2-2 draw against Sweden . He was not part of the squad for the EM. In 2016 he was part of the provisional squad for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but did not make it into the final squad. In 2017 Emiliano was nominated for the squad for the U21 European Championship in Poland and was used; the Danish U21s were eliminated after the group stage.
