Henrik Dalsgaard (born July 27, 1989 in Roum ) is a Danish national football player who is currently under contract with the English second division club Brentford FC .
Career
societies
Dalsgaard began his career with the lower class Danish team Møldrup / Tostrup IF. In 2009 he was discovered and signed by Aalborg BK . He played his first game for the new team at 1-1 on May 11, 2009 against Aarhus GF , when he came on for Luton Shelton in the 82nd minute . He scored his first goal for Aalborg in the 2-2 draw against FC Nordsjælland on May 31, 2009. Actually signed as a striker, Dalsgaard was used as a right winger in his first games. Over time, he moved even further back until he was finally able to fight for a regular place as a right defender. In January 2016 he finally moved to the Belgian first division for SV Zulte Waregem , for whom he made his debut on January 15, 2016 in the 1: 2 defeat against KRC Genk and his first goal on the following match day in a 2: 2 against Oud-Heverlee Lions scored. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, Dalsgaard initially fell out with a hip injury, but regained his regular place from January 2017.
For the season 2017/18 Dalsgaard moved to Brentford FC .
National team
Dalsgaard played for the Danish U-21s and also played a game for the U-20s. He played with the U-21s at the 2011 European Championships in his own country, but Denmark failed in the group stage. In the game against Belarus he was in the starting line-up, against Switzerland and Iceland he was substituted on. Dalsgaard made his debut for the Danish national team in a 2-1 win in the friendly against Iceland on March 24, 2016 . So far, two more international appearances in friendly matches have followed.
