Peter Graulund (born September 20, 1976 in Brørup ) is a former Danish football player who was most recently under contract at Aarhus GF in the Danish 1st division .

Career

Peter Graulund began his career at Vejen SF and Kolding Boldklub . At the age of 19, Graulund moved to Vejle BK where the striker made his senior debut under the coaching legend Ole Fritsen . He played three seasons at the club from the Syddanmark region before joining the Danish top club Brøndby IF .

At Brøndby Graulund was the top scorer of the Superliga in the 2000/01 season, which made the then second division VfL Bochum attention to him and signed him for 2.8 million D-Marks. At the Ruhrpott Verein, however, he never made the breakthrough, so that Graulund was awarded Aarhus GF in 2003 .

At the end of January 2004, Graulund joined the Swedish club Helsingborgs IF . He signed a three-year contract with the first division . At the side of Andreas Granqvist , Erik Wahlstedt , Christian Järdler and Jesper Jansson , he was a regular straight away and scored ten goals this season. Also in his second season he was accurate and scored seven goals as the club's best internal shooter, which led the club to sixth place in the table. Shortly after the transfer window opened in January 2006, he left the club prematurely after two seasons to rejoin the Danish club Aarhus GF.

In the second half of the 2005/06 season Graulund scored only one goal and rose at the end of the season with the team in the second division. As the top scorer in the second division with 17 goals, he helped the club to regain promotion. He then proved his scoring risk in the top league and at the end of the 2007/08 season, with 13 goals this season, placed himself tied with Henrik Hansen behind Jeppe Curth and Martin Bernburg in third place on the goalscorer list. Although he was a regular scorer in the following seasons, he rose again in 2010 with the club in the second division. Graulund ended his career there in 2012 and is currently working as a youth coach in Aarhus.
