German short course championships 2017

The German Short Course Championships in 2017 in swimming took place from 14 to 17 December 2017 for the second consecutive time in the swimming and diving center in Europasportpark Berlin instead. The organizer and host was the German Swimming Association . In addition to six relay competitions, 18 individual titles were awarded for men and women. At the same time as the German short course championships, the Danish capital city of Copenhagen hosted the European short course championships with 16 DSV athletes and the military world championships with eight DSV athletes in Rio de Janeiro . Alexandra Wenk was the most successful athlete of these championships with four individual titles. Anna Dietterle and Johannes Hintze also won four titles (2 in the singles and 2 in the relay) . Andreas Wiesner and Ramon Klenz secured three individual titles .

The 100 fastest swimmers and relays in Germany (open class) of the current season (November 21, 2016 up to and including November 26, 2017) were eligible for each route.
