Issaka Labo Bouché

Issaka Labo Bouché (born March 17, 1952 in Maradi ) is a Nigerien officer .

Life

Issaka Labo Bouché attended elementary school in Niger and then the military school in Saint-Louis in Senegal . In 1973 he became a member of the Nigerien armed forces and in the same year began a physics and chemistry training at the Royal Moroccan Academy in Meknes , which he graduated in 1976. He then went to the infantry school in Montpellier in France until 1977 .

Labo Bouché served from 1978 first as deputy commander, then as a commander in various companies in Niger, such as Dirkou , N'Guigmi and N'Gourti . In 1987 he became corps chief of Defense Zone No. 3 in Zinder and in 1990 corps chief of Defense Zone No. 2 in Agadez . From 1990 to 1991 he took part in the Second Gulf War as part of the Nigerien delegation . In 1995 he reached the rank of lieutenant colonel .

Issaka Labo Bouché was a member of the Council of National Welfare , a twelve-member military junta chaired by Ibrahim Baré Maïnassara , which ruled Niger from January to December 1996. Labo Bouché became inspector general of the armies at this time. He was promoted to colonel in 1999 and released from service in the State Department in 2000. From 2001 he was a defense attaché at the Nigerian embassy in the People's Republic of China for a number of years , where he became doyen of the military attachés.
