Issendorf is a district of Harsefeld in the Lower Saxony district of Stade .

geography

Issendorf is located on the floodplain . The Auetal conservation area with two "Auebrücke" bridges, which enable the floodplain and moor to be crossed, is located in the district. The Rustjer forest borders the district in the north.

Prehistory and early history

A prehistoric settlement can be proven by the large stone grave Issendorf .

Regional affiliation

Before 1885 Issendorf belonged to Börde Bargstedt in the district of Harsefeld , after 1885 to the district of Stade and since 1932 to the current district of Stade .

From 1967 to 1972 Issendorf was a member community of the old and smaller joint community of Harsefeld

On July 1, 1972 Issendorf was incorporated into the Harsefeld patch. Harsefeld became part of the Harsefeld community .

Issendorf is evangelical-Lutheran and belongs to the parish of the Church of St. Primus in Bargstedt.

Culture

Attractions

To the east of the village of Issendorf is the Daudieck archaeological hiking trail with three Neolithic giant beds and over 50 Bronze Age barrows . The stone box built into the inside of the hill is visible at one of the barrows . The capstone of the stone box has 27 incorporated bowls .

Club life

There is a rifle club , a table tennis club , a marching band and a volunteer fire brigade in the village . The village community center and the fire station were renovated with government aid as part of the village renewal .

Dirk Behrens has a studio in Issendorf. Moreover, it is Issendorf headquarters of the noble family of Issendorff .
