It's a Laugh Productions is a television production company , known for its productions of live action - sitcoms and TV movies for the two channels Disney Channel and Disney XD . It is the subsidiary of the Disney – ABC Television Group and was founded in 2004 by Don Mink and Amy Rabins . Most of the productions are shot in the Hollywood Center Studios in Los Angeles .
