Itilleq Killeq [ iˈtˢiɬːɜq ˈkiɬːɜq ] (according to the old spelling Itivdleĸ Kitdleĸ ) is a deserted, fallen Greenland reindeer herding settlement in the Narsaq district in Kujalleq municipality .
location
Itilleq Killeq is located on the south coast of the island of Tuttutooq , which is between the fjords of Ikersuaq (Bredefjord) and Narluneq (Skovfjord). From Itilleq Killeq it is 30 kilometers east to Qaqortoq , 31 km west to Qassimiut and 33 km northeast to Narsaq .
Population development
Itilleq Killeq had four residents 40 years ago. The number subsequently fell until the last resident left the settlement in 2009.
