Tullerunnat [ ˈtuɬːɜˌʁunːatˢʰ ] (according to the old spelling Tugdlerúnat ) is a deserted Greenlandic settlement in the district of Narsaq in the municipality of Kujalleq .

location

Tullerunnat is located on the southwest tip of the Niaqornap Nunaa peninsula . The Ikersuaq (Bredefjord) runs in front of the place . The closest inhabited place is Narsaq , which is 12 km southeast.

history

Tullerunnat was already inhabited in 1855. From 1911 Tullerunnat belonged to the municipality of Narsaq.

In 1919 28 residents were counted who lived in four houses. Among them were three hunters, a fisherman and an unskilled catechist. The population lived from the seal and fox hunt.

In 1937 the place to live was given up.
