Jörg Krichbaum

Jörg Krichbaum (born November 2, 1945 in Dortmund , † April 10, 2002 in Brussels ) was a German writer , painter and photographer .

Life

Jörg Krichbaum completed an apprenticeship as a photographer and then worked as a photo journalist . After that studied it Germanistik , philosophy and art history at the University of Göttingen . From 1974 to 1978 he worked as a dramaturge in Göttingen . Since 1978 he has lived as a freelance writer in Munich . During the 1980s he published a number of literary texts. In 1984 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . In addition, he was part of the editorial team of various photo magazines . From 1985 to 1987 Krichbaum worked as a marketing consultant for industrial companies. From 1989 he organized architecture congresses, at the same time he published publications on architectural theory and history . In 1995/96 he was cultural representative for the EXPO 2000 in Hanover . Since the end of the 1990s , he has mainly dealt with the publication of Internet address books. Krichbaum was also active as a hobby painter and professional photographer.

Jörg Krichbaum's literary work mainly includes narrative works and poems .

Jörg Krichbaum was a member of the Association of German Writers . In 1981 he received the Tukan Prize of the City of Munich , in 1982 a scholarship from the Villa Massimo in Rome and in the same year the advancement award of the Free State of Bavaria. In 1993 he received the Hugo Erfurth Prize together with William Klein and Anton Corbijn .
