Jörg Resler

Jörg Resler , pseudonym Peter von Sarnow , (born November 24, 1955 in Bergen on Rügen ) is a German actor, doctor and writer .

Life

At the age of 11, Resler played the lead role of Martin Grambauer in 1967 in the film Die Heiden von Kummerow and their funny pranks at the side of three other Rügen children ( Karin Heidemann , Wolfgang Hinz and Gerald Schraml ) . This remained his only role as an actor.

After graduating from high school in 1974 at the extended high school Ernst Moritz Arndt (today Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Gymnasium ) in Bergen on Rügen , Jörg Resler studied medicine in Greifswald . After completing his studies, he worked as a doctor first on Rügen and later at the University of Greifswald . Resler has lived on the North Sea island of Borkum since 1991 . There he initially dealt intensively with cystic fibrosis as a senior physician at the BfA clinic Borkum-Riff . Later he was appointed chief physician at the LVA Clinic Rhine Province. He headed the North Sea Clinic Borkum from 2001 to 2012 as medical director and was largely responsible for setting up a treatment center for cystic fibrosis patients on Borkum. Since January 2013 he has been the deputy head of the cardiology department of the "Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine" in Bremen .

Until 2002 Resler was deputy mayor of the municipality of Borkum and was on the city ​​council for the FDP .

Today he writes poetry and short stories under the pseudonym Peter von Sarnow . Jörg Resler is married and has two sons.
