Jürgen Kloth (* 1940 in Hamburg ; † 2019 in Berlin ) was a German film and theater actor , radio play speaker and director .

Act

Kloth attended the State University for Music and Performing Arts Hamburg and worked in a number of television films and TV adaptations of plays from the 1960s. He made his debut in Gustaf Gründgens ' Don Gil from the green pants . In the following years he worked with directors such as Harald Benesch , Ludwig Cremer , Alfons Lipp , Peter Palitzsch , Rainer-Werner Fassbinder, Fritz Umgelter and Franz Peter Wirth . In 1975 he had a supporting role in the Tatort episode Vodka Bitter Lemon . He also appeared in several television series through the 2000s with How Caution Trap! , Die Wache , Alles Atze , CityExpress , Der Clown , Stadtklinik and Forbidden Love . He had his last roles in the short film Die Kneipe (2006) by Andrzej Krol and Gabriel Gauchet and as a homeless person in the television series Angie (2008).

In addition, he had engagements at several theater stages, for example at the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz in Lucerne or in Wuppertal. As a director he staged Amphitryon in Constance. and Theaterhof Priessenthal. He also worked as a senior director at the theater of the city of Trier.
