Jamal Mallory McCree (born January 1, 1986 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actor .

life and career

Jamal Mallory McCree is from Detroit, Michigan. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University . McCree has been an actor since 2009. He played his first role in a guest appearance on Law & Order . This was followed by appearances in short and television films, before he was seen in 2012 as Derek Johnson in the film Recreator - You Will Be Replicated . He gained his first acting experience in New York on Broadway and Off-Broadway .

He booked other guest roles in series such as Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , Show Me a Hero and Code Black . From 2015 to 2016 McCree starred as Charlie Price in the series Quantico . from 2016 to 2017 followed a supporting role as Sekhou Bah in the sixth season of Homeland , before the role of Cole in Marvel's The Defenders .

McCree is engaged to Angela Lewis , who is also active as an actress.
