Jack Justin Crawford (* 9. September 1988 in London , England ) is a US American football poker players in the position of defensive end , who is currently with the Atlanta Falcons is under contract.
Early years
Crawford grew up in London. He attended the City of London School , where he was in the same class as Daniel Radcliffe , who played Harry Potter . At the age of seven, he developed alopecia universalis , a rare autoimmune disease in which all hair falls out. It is a form of what is known as circular hair loss . In 2005 he moved to the USA with his family . Here he attended a high school in Longport , New Jersey . He later attended Pennsylvania State University , where he scored 60 tackles , 6.5 sacks, and six prevented passes in his senior year for the college football team.
NFL
Oakland Raiders
Crawford was selected in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL draft in 158th place by the Oakland Raiders . Here he was only used sporadically in his first two professional seasons.
Dallas Cowboys
On September 2, 2014, he signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys . In his first season for the Cowboys he could not convince, also due to injuries. However, he scored his first sack in the NFL that season. In the 2015 season he played in all 16 games of the season, but only one as a starter. A season later he started as a regular player in his position, but had to give it up during the season.
Atlanta Falcons
On March 9, 2017, Crawford signed a three-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons . On October 3, 2017, he was placed on the Injured Reserve List .
Tennessee Titans
In early April 2020, the Tennessee Titans signed him.
