Jakob Hansonis , also known as Jacob Hansonis (born July 29, 1958 in Pulheim ), is a German musician and film music composer. He became known as a guitarist in Herbert Grönemeyer's band , where he is one of the oldest members. Again and again you saw him on tours of other artists such as Jeanette Biedermann . He also created the music for several films by Angelina Maccarone .

Life

Hansonis took his first guitar lessons in 1969. From 1972 he appeared in various music groups in the Cologne area. In 1976, as a high school student, he took guitar lessons at the Rheinische Musikschule in Cologne with Professor Tadashi Sasaki (until 1981). After graduating from the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Pulheim in 1978, he attended courses and seminars at the Musicological Institute of Cologne University and at the Cologne University of Music . The first collaboration with Herbert Grönemeyer came about in 1979, he has been a permanent member of the band since 1980 and is involved in all album productions and tours. He was also involved in theater music between 1980 and 1982 when Grönemeyer was musical director at the Schauspielhaus Bochum . Between 1983 and 1987 he was involved in several film scores (eg 1986 for " Summer in Lesmona " and 1988 for "How does the salt come into the sea?", Both by Peter Beauvais ). From 1989 to 1992 Hansonis was guitarist in the Cologne Big Band under the direction of saxophonist Michael Villmow . He took part in various productions and concerts, including a. the Leverkusener Jazz Days 1991. From 1991 to 1996 he produced himself in the Grönemeyer band's own studio. Jakob Hansonis has already toured with Sarah Connor and played with Michael Holm and his band “Stockings” (follow-up to Guildo Horn's “Orthopedic Stockings” ) for the 2004 album “Liebt Euch!”.

In 1986 he took the stage free of charge at the Anti-WAAhnsinns Festival against the planned Wackersdorf reprocessing plant .

In 1997, Hansonis worked for the first time with the film director Angelina Maccarone , who also came from Pulheim, and created the film music for Alles wird gut . From 1998 to 2000, in addition to various Grönemeyer productions and tours, he was also responsible for the music for Maccarone's television film An Angel Strikes Back (international title: Helgoland Babylon ; 1997/1998) and participated in various record productions (e.g. for R. Conrad) and involved in several radio projects. Since 1999 he has been a member of the Cologne group "Moss". In 1999, together with the singer Anke Beuth and the author Michael Kernbach, he founded the formation "Ambee" (folk, pop, jazz), which appears in various lineups.

Jakob Hansonis also created, mostly together with Hartmut Ewert , the music for other award-winning films by Maccarone: Fremde Haut (international title: Unveiled ; 2004/2005), pursued (international title: Hounded ; 2006) and Vivere (2007). The film music for Unveiled Skin , also created together with Hartmut Ewert, was shortlisted for the 2006 German Film Prize .

In 2006 he created the music for the WDR radio play Schach dem System (text: Steve May ; director: Christoph Pragua ) about the famous chess competition between Boris Spasski and Bobby Fischer at the World Cup in Reykjavík in 1972 . Together with Hartmut Ewert, he contributed the music to Tatort: ​​Erntedank eV , which was broadcast in 2008 and directed by Angelina Maccarone.
