Jacqueline Pearce
Jacqueline Pearce (born December 20, 1943 in Woking , Surrey , England - † September 3, 2018 in Lancashire , England) was a British actress .
Life
Jacqueline Pearce studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and at the Actors Studio in New York . Her acting career began in 1964 with appearances on the television series Danger Man and ITV Play of the Week , before she played major roles in the two hammer films The Black Reptile and Nights of Horror . Her most famous role was that of "Supreme Commander Servalan" in the British science fiction television series Blake's 7 , which she embodied in 28 episodes from 1978 to 1981. She then appeared in films such as A Successful Man , Princess Caraboo and The Unexpected Talents of Mrs. Pollifax , before ending her acting career in 2006. In 2012 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. However, she succumbed to lung cancer on September 3, 2018 .
