The Jagdbombergeschwader 42 (JaboG 42) was a flying task force of the Luftwaffe from 1964 to 1967 .
history
The JaboG 42 was set up on October 1, 1964 through the reorganization and renaming of the Jagdgeschwader 73 at the horse field . After conversion to the Fiat G.91 , the name was changed to Leichtes Kampfgeschwader 42 (LeKG 42) on May 1, 1967 .
After the introduction of the F-4F Phantom weapon system, the association regrouped to Jagdbombergeschwader 35 in 1975 and relocated to Laage in 1997 , where it is now stationed as Jagdgeschwader 73.
