Jan-Hendrik Salver (born March 1, 1969 ) is a German football referee from Stuttgart .

Career

Salver is one of the ten DFB assistant referees for the 1st Bundesliga who are also listed for FIFA games .

His most important assignment so far was at the 2004 European Championships in Portugal, when he assisted Markus Merk in leading the final between Portugal and Greece with his colleague Christian Schräer . He also assisted Markus Merk in three games at the 2006 World Cup .

Salver was assistant referee in 93 Bundesliga games, 32 European Cup games in the Champions League as well as in the UEFA Cup and 18 international matches. He also headed five games in the 2nd Bundesliga during the 1997/98 season .

At the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and the 2012 European Championship in Poland and Ukraine, he assisted the German FIFA referee Wolfgang Stark , together with Mike Pickel .

On May 21, 2011, he and Mike Pickel led the final of the 2010/11 DFB Cup in Berlin's Olympic Stadium as assistant to Wolfgang Stark .
