Jannes Vollert (born January 21, 1998 in Rendsburg ) is a German football player . The midfielder has been under contract with Werder Bremen since the summer of 2017 and will be loaned to Halleschen FC for two years from the 2019/20 season.

Career

Vollert started at the TuS Jevenstedt village club in his youth, before moving to Holstein Kiel and from there to the Werder Bremen U17s in summer 2013 . Two years later he moved to the U19. With the team, he became champions of the A-Junioren-Bundesliga Season North / Northeast in 2016 , but failed in the semifinals against the U19 of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . In July 2017 he received his first professional contract for the second team in the third division from the club . He made his professional debut on the first match day of the 2017/18 season in a 3-0 win against SpVgg Unterhaching .

In spring 2019, the third division Hallescher FC announced Vollert's commitment as a central defender. The defensive player's loan contract is valid until June 2021.

National team

Vollert made his debut in the jersey of the German U16 national team against Portugal on February 26, 2014 . By June of the same year he played a total of six international matches in this age group. On August 21, 2014 he played a game against Austria in the shirt of the U17 national team , which was lost 2-0. In 2015 he played two games for the U18 national team in the U18 four-nation tournament.
