Julian-Maurice Derstroff (born January 5, 1992 in Zweibrücken ) is a German football player . The offensive player is under contract with Halleschen FC and played five times for the German U20s .

Career

societies

Derstroff started playing soccer at SV Ixheim. Since 2002 he played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In 2011 he became German U19 runner-up with the club's A youth team. From the 2011/12 season he was part of the Bundesliga squad of 1. FC Kaiserslautern. After he failed in the first half of the season due to a foot operation, he had his first appearance in the professional team on matchday 21 of the 2011/12 season in the game against FC Bayern Munich under coach Marco Kurz , when he played for Konstantinos Fortounis in the 64th minute was substituted on.

For the 2013/14 season Derstroff moved to Borussia Dortmund's U23 . He made his debut in the game against the second team of VfB Stuttgart . On the third day of the match he scored his first two goals in the BVB jersey against SpVgg Unterhaching .

During the 2015 summer break, Derstroff moved to the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . In 35 games in the 3rd division he scored twelve goals and was the top scorer of his team. For the 2016/17 season , he and his Mainz team-mate Lucas Höler moved to the second division club SV Sandhausen .

For the second division season 2018/19 he joined Jahn Regensburg . There the offensive player could not prevail and came to four short appearances in the 2nd division as well as a starting eleven in the DFB Cup, in which he could score the only goal for his team. Between 2019 and 2020 it was only enough for a few minutes of play. In the storm, Derstroff had captain Marco Grüttner and the newcomer Andreas Albers in front of him, on the wings Sebastian Stolze and Jann George . After his contract expired, the Palatine left Regensburg.

About a month later Derstroff received a two-year contract with third division Hallescher FC , which had to give up offensive top performers.

National team

On September 9, 2012 Destroff was nominated for the international match in Großaspach against Poland by Frank Wormuth for the U20 national team . He made his debut in the 2-2 friendly game from the start and in the second minute prepared the 1-0 win through Shawn Parker . In the 60th minute he was substituted for Niclas Füllkrug . He made his second appearance for the U20 on October 10, 2012 when he came on for Christopher Buchtmann at halftime in the German 4-1 win against Italy in Aachen . He scored his first goal in his fifth outing, a 3-2 away win against Switzerland.
