Kai Eisele (born June 25, 1995 in Friesenheim ) is a German soccer player . He is a goalkeeper and has been playing for third division Hallescher FC since summer 2018 .
Career
Eisele first played in his youth at FC Ottenheim , FV Sulz and Offenburg FV . In 2011 he moved to the youth department of SC Freiburg , where he played for the B and A juniors. In 2014, with his save on penalties in the final, he played a decisive role in the DFB Cup victory of the U-19s at SC Freiburg. Since 2015 he has been used in the club's second men's team. In the 2016/17 season he was in the team's goal in all 34 games in the Baden-Württemberg Football League .
In summer 2017 he switched to Hansa Rostock . Initially, he was discussed as the team's regular goalkeeper, but Janis Blaswich, who was later signed up, was preferred to him. Eisele was only used in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Cup and also played some games in the club's second team in the Oberliga Nordost Nord . Due to an injury from Blaswich, Eisele was part of the 1st team in December 2017. He made his third division debut for Rostock on matchday 18 of the 2017/18 season in a 2-0 win at Halleschen FC , his future employer. This was followed by two more third division appearances in a row for the North Germans from Rostock. Eisele was the state cup winner Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2018 at the end of the season . In total, he completed six competitive games for the cog from Rostock before he left the club on the Baltic Sea.
As announced by Hallescher FC on May 6, 2018, Eisele signed a two-year contract until 2020. In Halle, Eisele immediately became a regular goalkeeper and extended his contract in February 2019 early on until 2021.
