Marcel Titsch-Rivero (born November 2, 1989 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Titsch-Rivero, whose grandfather comes from Spain , has been training for a long time as a contract amateur with the professionals of the Eintracht Frankfurt first team and has also played in friendly matches. However, he did not sign his professional contract until September 2009. He made his Bundesliga debut on December 12th December 2009 in the away game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , when he came on for Ümit Korkmaz in the 84th minute . After the 2010/11 season, Titsch-Rivero was a few times in the first team's squad, but was no longer used in the second Bundesliga in the 2011/12 season , but was only used in the second team of Eintracht for competitive games.
After the end of the 2011/12 season he moved to 1. FC Heidenheim . At the end of the 2012/13 season , Titsch-Rivero was fifth in the third division with 1. FC Heidenheim and missed promotion to the second division. In his first third division season he came to 28 games in which he scored three goals. The season ended with winning the WFV Cup after a 3-1 win against Neckarsulm SU. In his second season at 1. FC Heidenheim, Titsch-Rivero played a total of 20 games (two goals) in the third division in 2013/14 . At the end of the 2013/14 season he rose as a champion with 1. FC Heidenheim for the first time in the club's history in the 2. Bundesliga and defended the title win of the WFV Cup. During the 2014/15 season , Titsch-Rivero contributed to the early league as a regular. In his first year in the second division he made a total of 30 competitive appearances for 1. FC Heidenheim. During the game against Erzgebirge Aue on December 12, 2014, he scored his first goal in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 83rd minute.
After his contract with 1. FC Heidenheim expired at the end of the 2018/19 season, he moved to third division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden in September 2018 .

Remarkable
On May 14, 2011, Titsch-Rivero set a Bundesliga record during his second Bundesliga appearance under Christoph Daum in the game against Borussia Dortmund by being sent off the field 43 seconds after being substituted on. The referee had recognized a foul, emergency brake and penalty kick. Titsch-Rivero received the fastest expulsion in the history of the Bundesliga.
