Antonios Papadopoulos (born September 10, 1999 ) is a German soccer player with Greek roots .

career

Papadopoulos played in his youth at FSV Waiblingen, the Stuttgarter Kickers and SC Weinstadt before moving to the youth team at VfR Aalen in July 2015 . There Papadopoulos played mostly for the Aalen U19s and was their captain in the A-junior league. Due to the relatively small squad he trained with the professionals again and again and was part of their squad if necessary.

On August 12, 2017, Papadopoulos played for the first time for the pros in the second round game of the Württemberg Association Cup at VfL Pfullingen and played 90 minutes straight away.

The defensive player made his professional debut on October 28, 2017 in Aalen's third division game against SV Werder Bremen II, when he came on for Patrick Schorr in the 90th minute , but never got out of the role of reservist.

After Aalen's third division relegation in spring 2019, the defender moved to Halleschen FC , where he received a contract that was valid until June 2021.
