Jaraslau Raszislawawitsch Tschuprys ( Belarusian Яраслаў Расціслававіч Чупрыс , Russian Ярослав Ростиславович Чуприс / Jaroslaw Rostislawowitsch Tschupris * 12. September 1981 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who since 2011 when HC SHAKHTYOR SOLIGORSK in the Belarusian Extraliga is under contract.

Career

Jaraslau Tschuprys began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Junost Minsk , for whose professional team he was active from 1998 to 2001 in the Belarusian Extra League and the international East European Hockey League . The winger then signed with city neighbor and league rival HK Keramin Minsk , with whom he won the championship and cup double in the 2001/02 season . In addition, the national player was victorious with his team in the East European Hockey League in 2003 and 2004. The Belarusian had his most successful season in 2004/05, when he was the top scorer in the Extraliga with 25 goals and the top scorer in the league with a total of 57 points.

In the summer of 2005 Tschuprys signed with Salawat Julajew Ufa from the Russian Super League . In his first season with the Russians he immediately had a regular place and scored 22 scorer points in a total of 55 games, including six goals. In the 2006/07 season, the left shooter was mainly used for Ufa's second team in the Pervaya League , the third Russian division. Therefore, the attacker returned the next year to his ex-club Keramin Minsk, with whom he became Belarusian champions for the second time in his career. For the 2008/09 season he stayed in town, but signed with competitor HK Dinamo Minsk from the newly founded Continental Hockey League , for which he scored nine goals in 52 games and gave 14 templates. In the following year , the multiple World Cup participant was also used in parallel to the KHL game operations for Minsk's farm team HK Shakhtsjor Salihorsk , with whom he was runner-up in Belarus.

In the 2010/11 season he played in parallel for Dinamo in the KHL and for HK Junost Minsk in the Extraliga. He also won the Continental Cup with Junost . After this success he moved within Belarus to HK Schachzjor Salihorsk.

International

For Belarus , Tschuprys took part in the U18 Junior B World Championship in 1999 , the U20 Junior B World Championship in 2000 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2001 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2003 , 2006 , 2008 , 2009 and 2010 World Championships , as well as qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
