Goldberg was in Boston born, learned in Killington ( Vermont ) skiing and pulled the age of four with his family to Utah . There he drove his first races at the age of six in the Snowbird ski area . Goldberg lives in Holladay and attended Westminster College in neighboring Salt Lake City . After reaching the age limit, he took in the winter of 2006/2007 for the first time in FIS races in part, the first start in the Nor-Am Cup followed in February 2009. After his inclusion in the squad of the US Ski Association he arrived in 2010 at the Junior World Championship in France for Use, where he finished in midfield with 37th place in the downhill and 38th place in the Super-G. In the following winter Goldberg achieved his first top 10 placements in the Nor-Am Cup, and his first podium places came in winter 2011/12 with two third places in Super-G and Super-Combined by Panorama .
At the beginning of the 2012/13 season Goldberg was first used in the World Cup . In his second race, the Super-G of Beaver Creek on December 1st, he won the first World Cup point in 30th place. In the following week, he achieved his first victories in the Nor-Am Cup when he won two downhill runs in Copper Mountain . He then won the 2013 US Downhill Championship, which was also held in Copper Mountain on December 7, 2012. In addition, he won the overall classification and the downhill classification of the Nor-Am Cup in the 2012/13 season. His best World Cup result so far is 11th place in the Super Combined in Kitzbühel on January 26, 2014.
