Jasmin Handanović (born January 28, 1978 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian football goalkeeper . Since 2011 he has been playing for the Slovenian club NK Maribor .

Career

Jasmin Handanović first played for various clubs in the Slovenska Nogometna Liga , the top division of Slovenian football. He was three times Slovenian Cup winner , once in 2000 with NK Olimpija Ljubljana and twice in 2006 and 2007 with NK Koper . In 2007 he then moved to AC Mantova . In the 2010/11 season he was under contract with FC Empoli , where he was a regular goalkeeper.

National team

His younger cousin Samir Handanović is also a goalkeeper and also plays for the Slovenian national football team .
