Jasper Stadhouders (* 1989 in Tilburg ) is a Dutch jazz musician ( guitar , also e-bass ).

Jasper Stadhouders began performing as a musician when he was eight. From the 2000s he worked in the Dutch and international jazz and improvisation scene; with Sanne van Hek and Gerri Jäger (drums) he founded the improvisation trio The Black Napkins . He belonged to the trio Cactus Truck (with John Dikeman , Onno Govaert ), with whom four albums were created between 2012 and 2014, including a recording of a USA tour in 2012 with Jeb Bishop and Roy Campbell ( Live in USA ). From 2012 he also played in Ken Vandermark's American-European quartet Made to Break (with Tim Daisy , Christof Kurzmann ), from 2013 in the fusion quintet Spinifex (with Gijs Levelt , Gonçalo Almeida , Philipp Moser , Tobias Klein ). He also worked a. a. with Andrew D'Angelo , Teun Verbruggen , Wolter Wierbos and Nate Wooley , Han Bennink , Ab Baars , Paal Nilssen-Love , Marshall Allen , Noel Redding , Jim Black , Terrie Ex , Andy Moor , Wilbert de Joode , Peter Evans , Frank Rosaly , Dave Rempis , Michael Moore , Peter Jacquemyn and Ingrid Laubrock .
