Jawor Slawtschew ( Bulgarian Явор Славчев ; born January 10, 1990 ) is a Bulgarian ice hockey player who has played in the Bulgarian ice hockey league since 2004 at HK Slavia Sofia .

Career

Jawor Slavchev began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the Bulgarian record champions HK Slavia Sofia , where he also made his debut in the Bulgarian ice hockey league in 2004 . With Slavia he won the Bulgarian championship title in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 . In 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 he and his team were also able to win the cup competition.

International

In the junior division, Slavchev stood for Bulgaria at the U18 World Championships in 2004 , 2005 , 2006 and 2008 in Division III and at the 2007 qualifying tournament . With the U20 selection of his country, he took part in the World Championships of Division III in 2006 , 2007 , 2008 and 2010 .

Slavchev played with the Bulgarian men's national team at the World Championships of Division II in 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 , 2012 and 2013 . He also represented his colors in the qualifying tournaments for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and 2018 in Pyeongchang .
