Jean-Paul Rouve (born January 26, 1967 in Dunkerque ) is a French actor and director . In France he became known to a large audience as part of the comedian troupe Les Robins des Bois . In Germany he could be seen in Two Unequal Friends in the role of Claude Mendelbaum.

Life

Rouve, an admirer of Patrick Dewaere , began with supporting roles such as that of a lawyer in the film Tanguy or that of the collaborator Pierre-Jean Lamour in the film Monsieur Batignole , a role for which he received the César as best young male actor . Inspired by his success, he increasingly played more important roles such as alongside Gérard Depardieu in Two Unequal Friends . In 2010 he appeared in the film Adèle and the Pharaoh's Secret .
