Life is a festival (original title: Le sens de la fête ) is a French comedy film by the directors Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano from 2017 . It was released in French cinemas on July 5, 2017. The film was released in Germany on February 1, 2018.

The professional wedding planner Max has been commissioned to organize the wedding of Pierre and Héléna in a country palace near Paris with his crew. All sorts of things go wrong. Despite all the chaos, the wedding can be saved, and Max can also get his relationship problems under control. Instead of handing over his company to an investor after the wedding, as intended, he appoints his "right hand" Adèle as the new boss.

Andreas Staben von Filmstarts saw a film "with many great moments". The directors had orchestrated "a varied and polyphonic comedy chorale", "in which isolated discordant notes are repeatedly played over with plenty of verve".
