Jean Sony Alcénat (born January 23, 1986 in Port-au-Prince ) is a Haitian football player . The full-back has been under contract with CD Feirense in the Portuguese Primeira Liga since summer 2016 .

Career

Alcénat's career began with Aigle Noir in his hometown of Port-au-Prince . In 2004 he made his first appearances in the Ligue Haïtienne , the first division of Haiti. There he fought with his club mostly to stay in class. In early 2009 he left his home country for the Portuguese first division club Leixões SC . After nine appearances in the first year , he became a regular in the 2009/10 season and had to relegate his club at the end of the season. He remained loyal to his club in the Segunda Liga , but left it after missing promotion in the summer of 2011 to first division Rio Ave FC .

In the summer of 2012, Alcénat moved to Petrolul Ploieşti in Romania. He won his first title there when he won the cup in 2013 . In the second half of the 2012/13 season he became a regular player after initial difficulties and also managed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League with his team in the 2013/14 season . Record champions Steaua Bucharest signed him in the summer of 2015 . He was rarely used there and was awarded to FC Voluntari in early 2016 . There, too, he only got five missions. After returning to Steaua, his situation did not improve in the summer of 2016. Alcénat joined the Portuguese first division club CD Feirense in August 2016 .

National team

Alcénat has been with the Haitian national team since 2007 . He participated in the Gold Cup in 2007 and 2013 .
