Yekaterina Viktorovna Gordon ( Russian Екатерина Викторовна Гордон ; born October 19, 1980 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a Russian journalist , singer-songwriter and political activist .

Life

Gordon, née Prokofjewa, comes from the family of a Moscow scientist. After her mother's divorce, she took the name of her stepfather Podlipchuk. In 2002 she graduated from the Pedagogical and Psychological Faculty of the Moscow State Pedagogical University as a psychologist, then took courses in scenario writing and directing with Pyotr Todorowski . She successfully graduated from the Moscow State Legal Academy as a lawyer.

In the early 2000s, she and her husband Alexander Gordon hosted a program on the M1 television station . From the mid-2000s she worked as a radio presenter for the Echo Moskwy , Radio RSN , Goworit Moskwa and others. From 2007 to 2008 she and the writer Dmitri Gluchowski designed the personality cult program on Radio Mayak . On July 5, 2008, she and her studio guest, the TV presenter Xenija Sobchak , clashed and was released. She also moderated various television formats for the channels Perwy kanal and Zvezda and worked as a creative producer for the youth channel O2 TW . She worked with several newspapers and magazines including L'Officiel , Atmosfera , Billboard , Playboy and Moskovsky Komsomolets .

In 2009 Gordon founded the rock group Blondrock , has been the band leader since 2010 and has so far recorded one single ( Sweltlyje Ljudi ) and two albums. She wrote more than 200 titles, which were presented not only by her, but also by Ani Lorak , Grigori Leps , Michail Galustjan or Dmitry Kaldun .

Gordon shot the short film More wolnujetsja ras ... as a scriptwriter and director . She shot the multi-part photographer and the youth melodrama Pikap: Sjom bes prawil . In 2014 her work of poetry # СТИХИКАТИГОРДОН was published by AST . She is also the author of the book Sostojanija with poems and stories, the Powest Konchenyje and others.

In 2013, she founded the law firm Saferoom , which was renamed Gordon and Sons in 2017 .

Social activity

From 2009 to 2010 Gordon took an active part in the protest movement Strategy 31 and Actions for the Protection of the Chimkik Forest ( Poslednjaja Osen - Последняя осень ). She founded the Nenuschnaja Poroda ( Ненужная порода ) association for the care of street animals by volunteers. In 2012 she organized the RockSobaka rock festival . As the founder of a non-governmental organization, she campaigns for the rights of women and children. On October 30, 2017, she announced that she would run for the 2018 presidential election. According to their own statements, their goal is "to abolish the office of president and to introduce a real democratic system, a parliamentary republic". On December 23, 2017, she was nominated for office at the Party of Good Deeds Congress . On January 28, 2018, she withdrew her candidacy and declared that she wanted to found a constitutional democratic party.

Private

Gordon is divorced and was married to TV presenter Alexander Gordon (2000-2006) and lawyer Sergei Shorin (2011 and 2014). She has two sons: Daniil (* 2012) and Serafim (* 2017).
