Jeong Woo-geun ( kor. 정우근 ; born March 1, 1991 in Daejeon ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Jeong Woo-geun signed his first contract in 2012 with the then second division club Raj-Pracha FC . After the end of the season Raj-Pracha finished 17th in the table and had to relegate to the third division . To continue playing in the second division , he moved to Sattahip to Navy FC . After 26 games and ten goals, he left the Navy after a year and joined the league rivals Nakhon Pathom United FC . Here he scored 36 goals in 64 games in two years. In 2016 he went to Bangkok and signed a contract with the first division club BBCU FC . He was also relegated with the BBCU. He moved to PTT Rayong FC , a second division club from Rayong , in 2017. After a year he went to South Korea . Here he signed a contract with Suwon FC . The club from Suwon played in the K League 2 , the second highest division in the country. In 2019 he returned to Thailand and signed a contract with second division promoted Ayutthaya United FC in Ayutthaya . After a year he left Ayutthaya and went to league rivals Chiangmai United in Chiangmai .
