Jeufosse is on the left bank of the Seine . The Paris – Le Havre railway runs parallel to the water . The nearest train station is in Bonnières-sur-Seine . The neighboring towns are Port-Villez in the north-west, Limetz-Villez without contact in the north, Bennecourt in the north-east, Bonnières-sur-Seine in the east, La Villeneuve-en-Chevrie in the south and Blaru in the west.

history

On January 1, 2019, Jeufosse and Port-Villez were merged to form the commune nouvelle Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer . Jeufosse has been a commune déléguée in this regional authority since then . The municipality of Jeufosse was part of the Yvelines department , the Mantes-la-Jolie arrondissement and the Bonnières-sur-Seine canton .
