Jia Zhanbo ( Chinese  賈占波 , Pinyin Jiǎ Zhānbō ; born March 15, 1974 in Xinyang ) is a former Chinese sports shooter .

successes

Jia Zhanbo took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and 2008 in Beijing . He competed in the small caliber competitions in the prone position and in the three-position fight. In the prone position he finished seventh in the qualification with 595 points, followed by 101.6 more points in the final. With a total of 696.6 points, he finished the competition in eighth place overall. He also made it into the final in the three-position battle, having achieved first place in the qualification with 1171 points. There he was the second weakest shooter of the eight finalists with 93.5 points, but his total of 1264.5 points were enough to defend first place. Jia became Olympic champion ahead of Michael Anti and Christian Planer . In 2008 he did not get over the 24th place in the prone position and in the three-position battle not over the 27th place. In 2007, Jia was Asian champion in singles in Kuwait City both in the three-position fight and in the prone attack.

Jia is married and has one child.
