Jochen-Wolfgang Meyn

Jochen-Wolfgang Meyn (born September 4, 1932 in Hamburg , also known as Jochen Meyn or J. Wolfgang Meyn ; † February 7, 2013 ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Jochen-Wolfgang Meyn was born as the son of the actor Robert Meyn and the opera singer Ilse Koegel. After graduating from high school and studying at the University of Hamburg , he played at the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg.

In the 1950s he also worked in various film productions . Among them were the 1951 films Die Sünderin by Willi Forst with Hildegard Knef , Wera Frydtberg and Robert Meyn and Primanerinnen by Rolf Thiele with Ingrid Andree , Walter Giller and Christiane Jansen . In 1955 he starred in the literary film adaptation of Carl Zuckmayer's drama Des Teufels General with Curd Jürgens , Marianne Koch and Viktor de Kowa in the leading roles.

He also worked as a radio play speaker. So you could hear him in 1952 in an episode of the radio play series The Court withdraws for advice from the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR).

Jochen-Wolfgang Meyn died on February 7, 2013 after a long and serious illness.
