Jochen Metzger

Jochen Metzger (* 1969 in Karlsruhe ) is a German journalist , author , copywriter and consultant.

Life

Jochen Metzger grew up in Graben-Neudorf ( Baden ). He studied philosophy and general rhetoric in Tübingen as well as German , psychology and sociology in Oldenburg (master's degree).

Since 2008 he has been working as a freelance journalist for the magazines Psychologie Heute , brand eins , Zeit Wissen , PM Magazin , Welt am Sonntag , Wunderwelt Wissen , Vital and Focus Schule, among others .

Writing activities

In 2011 the book "Alle Macht den Kinder" was published, which was turned into a television film (with Hannes Jaenicke and Rebecca Immanuel ). The book has been translated into Italian ( Nei panni di mamma e papá. L'esperienza straordinaria di una famiglia ordinaria ) and Korean .

Another novel was published in 2016, “And yet it is home”, in which Jochen Metzger dealt with the forgotten events in his home village towards the end of the Second World War .

In addition, he works as head of text for women's magazines: Für Sie , Emotion , Hörzu Gesundheit and tina .
