Johann August Marschall von Bieberstein († July 18, 1736 ) was a royal Polish chamberlain and royal Prussian chief herald , diplomat and secret budget and war councilor.

The son of the Privy Councilor and chief tax collector Moritz Thamm Marschall von Bieberstein (1645–1702), landlord of Hermsdorf near Döbeln, and Magdalena Sybilla von Bünau († 1677) received the Prussian indigenous community on June 12, 1705 in Cölln on the Spree .

Bieberstein was captain of Burg Giebichenstein and Moritzburg (Halle) as well as squire of Eichen (1732), Gnie and Wandlack in the district of Gerdauen . Bieberstein was a knight of the Order of St. John and was awarded the Order of the Black Eagle .

From autumn 1711 to March 1712 he was envoy to the United Kingdom , from there he went as Prussian envoy to the peace negotiations in Utrecht .

In 1732 and 1733 we find him as an envoy in Dresden and Warsaw

He was married to Maria Catharina von Schlieben (* 1698; † January 14, 1738) (Haus Gerdauen ), a daughter of Johann Friedrich von Schlieben , who is named as the landlady of oak in 1716. She married the second marriage to the Privy Councilor Philipp du Rosey († November 14, 1744), after 1736 lord of Gnie, a son of Imbert Rollaz du Rosey .
