Johann Bangert

Johann Bangert (born February 28, 1909 in Osnabrück , † November 4, 1993 in Bonn ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Bangert was a son of Lieutenant Colonel a. D. Victor Bangert and his wife Gertrud, b. Hammersen. He spent his childhood in Aurich , Lingen and Osnabrück and attended the Ratsgymnasium in Osnabrück from 1918 to 1927 , where he passed the final examination in 1927. He studied law in Freiburg , Gießen , Berlin and Göttingen . In Giessen he was a member of the Corps Teutonia . Bangert passed the first state examination in law in 1931 and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He performed his preparatory service in the district court district of Osnabrück, with the government in Hanover and in the administrative districts of Stade and Hanover. After passing the second state examination, he was appointed government assessor in 1936. In 1938 he became a councilor and advisor in the Reich Ministry of the Interior. He did military service from 1939 to 1942, but was released after being severely wounded. Bangert had already been promoted to the senior government council in 1941. In 1942 he became the acting district administrator of the Wetzlar district . Dismissed in 1945, he worked in various functions in the private sector, including as legal advisor for the Carl Althoff circus and head of a travel and traffic office in Diepholz . 1953 to 1954 he was the branch manager of a housing association in Wiesbaden. In 1954 he became an alderman at the German District Association in Bonn. In 1973 he retired.
